Highly recommend AAMCO especially Dave’s shop! Dave was super helpful and professional in taking my car in for a transmission check same day. Work quoted was much more realistic and reasonable than other shops. Actually put the car on the rack and looked at it with human expertise not just relying on 2min diagnostic device which anyone can buy -use, and doesn’t require mechanic for. It’s a little tricky to find right now with all the highway construction. but look it up on google satellite or call them for specific directions.
Dave is the owner of AAMCO in Provo, UT. I have a 2001 Toyota Tundra that was shaking and slowing down, it was said that the transmission was going out in drive, when I put the transmission in L2, and it ran fine to get home. So, I had the truck towed to AAMCO in Provo. I received a call from Dave, indicating that the transmission didn't need to be fixed, the fluid was clean, not debris in the pan, or smelt of burnt fluid. So, a diagnostic was performed on the motor. The diagnostic revealed that the #8 cylinder was misfiring, needing new spark plugs and coils were needed. So, with this information, Dave replaced the spark plugs and coils, and the truck runs like a top. Summary, Dave is honest, truthful, and can be trusted with your vehicle, PERIOD! He could have ripped me off, replacing the transmission for $6K and the truck would have still run like hell. But, he didn't .............................. He found the problem and fixed it, and it wasn't thousands of dollars, it was less than $800. I hope someone out there reads this, Dave is your guy!

I can't say enough how grateful I am for Dave and the tech who worked on my car! I had the nightmare busted gasket head. Dave was able to take care of my '08 Hyundai Elantra and I'm back to driving on my merry way. I will trust Dave with every vehicle I own from now on.
